About Katie-Anne

A woman with brown hair and blue eyes smiling, wearing a light purple top with buttons, seated in a woven chair near a window.
A woman with dark hair tied back, wearing a pink short-sleeved cardigan and olive-green pants, sitting in a vintage armchair with a checkered pattern, smiling at the camera, in a cozy room with beige walls and circular wall decor.

I am an accredited and experienced Holistic Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Energy Healer. I believe that every person is inherently good and worthy of love, acceptance, and belonging. Through a holistic, compassionate approach, I help clients heal, build self-compassion, challenge limiting beliefs, and reconnect with their authentic selves. My focus is on empowering people to recognise their own worth and capacity for growth.

My journey into therapy work began as a Social Care worker. I realised that although this work was of a caring nature it did not reach the root cause of discomforts for my clients. I knew that I was looking to find more answers and in turn I was looking to find myself too.

I have always known that we as humans are inherently good. And I have a desire to share this with others, to empower them to know that they are not flawed or unlovable and to know that they deserve to take their space in this world.

I encourage this through the relationship that we form whether it's through therapy or energy healing which offers a sense of holding and connection. I also work with self compassion, core beliefs, and acceptance of ourselves in all of our forms.

As a therapist my approach is holistic. This means our journey together will consist of us being in this space simply existing as one human to another and all that this brings with it.

A woman and a small child sitting on a windowsill, playing with a toy baby doll inside a room. The scene is bright and cheerful, with a view of a suburban neighborhood with lush green trees and houses outside the window.

I also practice a combination of theoretical approaches including CBT, Compassion focused, Psycho-dynamic or Gestalt. This allows space for expansion, creativity and personal development for clients.

I inform my clients that this work may be challenging and at times uncomfortable. And that by working with this, bringing self-awareness  and exploring their resilience toolboxes that this uneasiness will soften. This will encourage their nervous system to regulate, creating a sense of safety within the body.

We are all unique so my work will differ with each client in order to encourage their reflection, energy system regulation, their individuality and their sense of wellness and reconnection to themselves.

I would describe myself as approachable, non-judgemental, sensitive, honest, nurturing, supportive, practical and understanding which I believe are some necessary attributes to encourage clients to become comfortable with their own healing, growth, transformation and flourishing in order to enhance their wellness.

I specialise in combining psychotherapy and energy healing so that we can work with the conscious, the unconscious and the energetic field of the client which creates a pathway into each intrinsic and delicate fragment of the body and mind.

Counselling and Psychotherapy

Purple flowers in bloom with a wooden house in the background.

For counselling and psychotherapy we will take time to reflect, explore and become curious about how you see the world around you and why and how this impacts your reality. I work with many aspects of the human psyche such as and not limited to:

  • Trauma

  • Self harm

  • Depression

  • Work related issues

  • Addiction

Bio Energy and Celtic Healing

Bio-energy and celtic healing is about grounding and regenerating our own powerful resource that is available to us within.

This is a revitalising light touch therapy where the client will relax in the arm chair or on the comforting therapy bed in the surrounding of my log cabin. I work intuitively to realign the energy system within the body by light touch, music, sound and smells, pendulums and healing rods. Which helps to create safety, peace of mind and expansion.

The Signature Combination: Psychotherapy and Energy Healing

Person standing outdoors with arms raised, back and sunlit in a field of flowers with sunlight creating a warm glow.

As a trained and accredited Holistic Psychotherapist and Energy Healer i feel that it is important to combine these two significant and extensive modalities.

I believe that in this space a sense of belonging, hope, transformation and deep awareness can develop which will enable and empower the client to encourage their own growth and healing. Acknowledging and attuning to the implementation of the mind, the body and the soul integration.

These accelerated sessions offer time, restoration, nervous system regulation, creative expressions and connection to nature and the Self through; psycho education and self discovery and presence.

 Retreats

I am currently facilitating retreats in Co. Roscommon. The theme of the retreats change throughout the year and the locations may vary throughout the midlands.

These retreats combine guided meditation, somatic movement, creative expression, music, angel cards and individual healings.

I have been fortunate to hold group healing sessions within different organizations and corporate companies as part of their health and wellbeing initiatives. This can be tailored to each individual need of the group and company.

Contact me to find out about how you can book into a retreat or for more information for your organisation, community or company.
